eFriends:This one for you !

I would like to share this, one of my favourites with my efriends on blog:

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER

I'd dare to make more mistakes next time.
I'd relax, I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have been this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.

I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles,
but I'd have fewer imaginary ones.

You see, I'm one of those people who live
sensibly and sanely hour after hour,
day after day.

Oh, I've had my moments,
And if I had it to do over again,
I'd have more of them.
In fact, I'd try to have nothing else.
Just moments, one after another,
instead of living so many years ahead of each day.

I've been one of those people who never goes anywhere
without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat
and a parachute.
If I had to do it again, I would travel lighter than I have.
If I had my life to live over,
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring
and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daisies.

The greatest skill of all is to be able to enjoy your life even if it comes with limitations. We all have something that holds us back for one or another reason, and the point is to do the best you can without letting that limitation stop you from trying anything at all.

My life is so valuable to me that I'm never bored. I'm always busy, I always have something to do and I'm constantly looking for new things to learn and new things to experience.

I feel so sorry for those who sigh and tell me that they are bored, they are wasting their time and life. People that hold up their limitations as a shield to get away from learning and growing as persons annoys me.

A limitation is not the end, it's the source of creativity.

first i was amazed that it is written by a 85 yr old but then all amazement gone as i realized that she wanted to renew her life with full swing and at that age this can be a dearest wish.
however, i think everyone wants to change so many things in their lives no matter what age is.
its really a nice contribution, thanks for dedicating it to us :)
